Amanda Ariss receives OBE in New Year’s Honours List

Amanda Ariss, former CEO of the Equality and Diversity Forum, has received an OBE in recognition of her services to equality and human rights, in the New Year’s Honours List 2016.

Amanda led EDF from 2008 to 2015. She is now Executive Director of the Creative Diversity Network.

Commenting on the announcement, Ali Harris, EDF’s CEO said:

I am sure all EDF’s members will join me and the team in congratulating Amanda on this truly well-deserved honour. Amanda’s leadership of the Equality and Diversity Forum was characterised by sound judgement, integrity and commitment. This enabled so many people and organisations to come together to find common ground and advance equality- benefitting us all, as individuals and as a society.
