Action on Hearing Loss resource: Hearing loss resources for employers

Action on Hearing Loss have launched a range of practical resources (word) to highlight the simple actions that employers can take to make the workplace more inclusive for people with deafness and hearing loss.

They are also asking for your help in spreading the word to create awareness and understanding about deafness and hearing loss at work, both within your organisation and beyond.

New employer resources:

Their new Employers’ Hub aims to give employers the confidence to support people with hearing loss at work. The charity has included a range of inspiring stories and videos from employees and employers such as EY and IKEA. They have also created a downloadable Employers’ Guide and an online quiz – creating a one stop shop for supporting diverse talent with hearing loss, from attraction to retention. www.actiononhearingloss.org.uk/employers

Template copy and assets for internal comms and social media

In addition, Action on Hearing Loss have provided a range of visual assets and template copy that can be shared within your organisation (e.g. via your intranet or e-newsletter) or on social networks, including posters, animations, videos and graphics with key facts and figures.
