Acas guidance on questions regarding workplace discrimination

In January 2014, Acas published non-binding, good practice guidance on how employers should deal with questions regarding discrimination in the workplace. The guidance will apply from 6 April 2014, once the statutory discrimination questionnaire procedure in the Equality Act 2010 has been replaced with an informal approach.

The guidance is called Asking and responding to questions of discrimination in the workplace. Acas guidance for job applicants, employees, employers and others asking questions about discrimination related to the Equality Act 2010.
